Electrical Control Systems
Dynamic Air has been designing and building electrical control systems for over 30 years. Control system designs range in size from 30 I/O points to over a 1000 I/O points and larger. Large control systems commonly include multiple processors, remote I/O, and multiple operator interfaces in many different configurations depending upon the equipment provided and the customer's requirements.
Allen Bradley PLCs
Dynamic Air control systems have utilized Allen-Bradley PLCs since their inception in the 1970s. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s Dynamic Air incorporated the latest Allen-Bradley technology to improve performance, reliability, and cost. Our on-going relationship with Allen-Bradley designers has directly contributed to some of these improvements, with respect to processor size and capability, development software tools, and operator interface features. Dynamic Air also has extensive experience with many other PLC manufacturers such as Modicon, Siemens, GE Fanuc, Square-D, Omron and Honeywell.
SCADA Systems
As the use of the PC has become more commonplace in the manufacturing industry, Dynamic Air has incorporated SCADA systems such as Wonderware®, Intouch®, and Intellution® iFIX into our control designs for customers who need more information from the plant floor to manage their manufacturing processes.
UL Certified Manufacturing Facility
In an effort to improve control system design and manufacturing, Dynamic Air is an Underwriters Laboratories certified manufacturing facility. Control systems provided by Dynamic Air can be built to UL 508 standards and incorporate all UL Listed or Recognized components. As a result, electrical control enclosures that are UL Listed to U.S. and Canadian safety standards are available for all customers who require it.
Complete Testing System
Throughout Dynamic Air's history, testing of the control system software and hardware has been a top priority. Coinciding with the expansion of our manufacturing facility, Dynamic Air incorporated a "state-of -the-art" Allen-Bradley PLC and Wonderware Intouch-based simulator capable of testing up to six different full-scale control systems simultaneously. This system includes discrete and analog I/O that is physically connected to a control system as it would be in the field and can simulate entire conveying, weighing, blending, mixing, or drying systems.
