Modu-Kleen™ Cartridge Filter Media

Dynamic Air offers six types of Modu-Kleen® cartridge filters designed to meet a wide range of dust collection/bint vent filter applications. These options allow any Dynamic Air dust collector or bin vent filter to be optimized by selecting the cartridge filter best suited to the specific process and dust. Based on factors such as material temperature, particle size, relative moisture, and the characteristics of the dust, Dynamic Air provides cartridge filters that align with required performance and specification standards.

The cartridge filters are highly versatile, as all Dynamic Air dust filter models use the same mounting arrangement and are fully interchangeable. Dynamic Air’s qualified application engineering staff is available and ready to assist in selecting the cartridge filter best suited for each specific application.

Hypoly filter (Our Standard filter)

A fine denier, spun bond polyester, renewable media that combines high efficiency, excellent release characteristics and moisture tolerance for extended filter life. More than 90% of our dust filters incorporate this cartridge. For use with dust particle sizes greater than 2.0 microns and in process temperatures up to 250°F.

Hypoly-HO filter

A fine denier, spun bond polyester, renewable media that combines high efficiency and excellent release characteristics with an enhanced surface treatment that repels water and oil. For use with dust particle sizes greater than 2.0 microns and in process temperatures up to 250°F.

Hypoly-PTFE filter

Similar to the Hypoly cartridge with the added feature of a laminated high efficiency PTFE membrane. This results in a filter with extraordinary release characteristics and high efficiencies on very fine particles. This media is an excellent choice for hard-to-solve filtration problems. For use with dust particle sizes greater than 0.5 microns and in process temperatures up to 250°F.

Hypoly-HT filter

A filter media utilizing heat-resistant fibers, delivering exceptional performance in high-temperature process temperatures up to 350°F.  This robust media combines high filtration efficiency with excellent dust release characteristics, providing a reliable solution for demanding high-temperature dust filtration needs. For use with dust particle sizes greater than 2.0 microns.

Hypoly-HT-PTFE filter

Similar to the Hypoly-HT cartridge with the added feature of a laminated high efficiency PTFE membrane. This results in a filter with extraordinary release characteristics and high efficiencies on very fine particles while maintaining full performance in process temperatures up to 350°F. This media is an excellent choice for hard-to-solve filtration problems while operating in a high temperature process. For use with dust particle sizes greater than 0.5 microns.

Hypoly-NANO filter

Our most advanced filter media with a proprietary nanofiber layer applied to the filter media surface. This cartridge filter offers excellent resistance to humidity, and flame resistance. This is the filter of choice for weld fume extraction (fume collectors), and plasma and laser cutting fume extraction. For use in process temperatures up to 250°F.
